1 cup Karo syrup
2 cups shelled peanuts
1 cup sugar
1 tsp. soda
butter

Directions:
Directions:
Butter cookie sheet, measure soda and set aside. Place peanuts in a large iron skillet; . add syrup and sugar. Cook until mixture turns brown around the edges. The peanuts will pop during this time and almost stop popping when the mixture is ready. Stir in soda (the mixture will foam). Pour onto the buttered cookie sheet immediately. Cool. Break into pieces to serve.

Note: Make this in a black iron skillet. We could hardly wait until this candy was cool enough to eat.
