1 qt Elbow macaroni
1/4 lb or more of cheddar or american cheese (grated)
1 qt Tomato juice
1 tsp salt
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 tsp red pepper (cayenne)

Directions:
Directions:
1. Cook the macaroni with salt, under-cook it a bit (so the tomato juice will soak in). Drain and rinse with cold water.

2. Put the cooked macaroni and the other ingredients together in a shallow glass cooking pan

3. Sprinkle some cayenne pepper on top

4. Bake about 325 for 1 1/2 hours (until it is a little crispy on top)

Lois: don't over cook the macaroni and it is pretty runny when you put in the oven, but the tomato juice soaks up in the macaroni. It has a lot of cheese but not runny, each bit has a piece of cheese.
