2¼ cups sifted flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup shortening
¾ cup packed brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
½ teaspoon water
2 eggs
2 chocolate chips
1 cup chopped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Sift flour, baking soda, salt set aside
Combine butter, sugar, brown sugar, vanilla, water - beat until creamy
Beat in 2 eggs
Add flour mixture - mix well
Stir in chocolate chips and nuts
Drop ½ teaspoons onto greased sheets
Bake at 375º for 10-12 mintes
