3 Cups Sugar or 2 Cups Sugar plus 1 Cup Sugar Free Substitute
1/2 Cup Butter or Margarine, soften
1 Cup Shortening
5 Eggs
3 Cups All Purpose Flour
1/8 Teaspoon Salt
1 Cup Milk
2 Cups Chopped Pecans
1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract

Add additional teaspoon vanilla extract if using sugar free substitute.

Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar, butter, and shortening in a large mixing bowl; add eggs, mixing well. Combine flour and salt; add to creamed mixture alternating with milk, stirring well. Stir in pecans and vanilla. Pour into a greased and floured 10 inch Bundt pan. Bake at 300 degrees for 2 hours and 15 minutes or until done.

If sugar free substitute was used, bake at 275 degrees.
