3 lbs frozen hash browns
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
2 cups grated Cheddar cheese
1 cup onion, finely chopped
1 pint sour cream
1 can Cream of Chicken soup
2 cups corn flakes
½ cup margarine

Directions:
Directions:
Saute’ the onion in Ό cup margarine and combine all but the last 2 ingredients. Place in a 9”x13” pan or divide into two smaller pans. Melt Ό cup margarine and toss with the corn flakes. Sprinkle over the top of the casserole. Bake 45-50 minutes at 350 degrees. When this recipe is prepared in advance and frozen, the cooking time doubles.
