1 head of cabbage, chopped
1 diced onion
3-4 stalks of celery
2-3 chopped garlic cloves
2-3 pounds of sausage, any variety or mixture cut into bite-size chunks
Seasonings, whatever you enjoy, salt, pepper, basil, celery seed
1 bell pepper, chopped
2 or 3 cans diced tomatoes
2-3 diced potatoes, optional
8 ounces mushrooms, optional

Directions:
Directions:
Brown sausage. Remove to use drippings to saute your other ingredients except for cabbage. Add sausage, sauteed ingredients, and now the cabbage. Simmer and cook on medium for 30 or more minutes. Or add to a slow cooker for an all day delight.
