Directions:Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Chill large bowl in freezer to whip cream later. Prepare cake mix according to package directions using milk instead of water. (For richer flavored cake, substitute 1/3 cup milk with Kahlua or add 1 teaspoon instant coffee to mix.) Divide batter in 3 (9-inch) round pans. Bake for 10-15 minutes until done. Remove from pans and chill cake layers (if possible) before frosting. In large bowl, mix sweetened condensed milk with chocolate. Stir in 1/4 cup water, then instant pudding mix and chill for 30 minutes. Dissolve gelatin in 1/4 cup water. Whip cream and fold in chocolate mixture to make mousse. Fold into whipped cream mixture 2-3 tablespoons dissolved gelatin. Fill cake layers with mousse and cover top and sides as well. Refrigerate. |
