2 cups brown sugar
4 sticks margarine
2 cups white sugar
4 eggs
2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. soda
3 cups quick oats
2 tsp. vanilla
2 cups coconut
3 cups flour

cup sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon

powdered sugar, vanilla, water.

Mix in a bowl, the first 4 ingredients. Next add all dry ingredients.Stir until mixed well. Form into balls the size of a walnut. Roll into a mixture of cup sugar and 1 tsp. of cinnamon. Bake in oven at 375 about 8 minutes.
Remove from cookie sheet and while still warm brush on a thin glaze of icing made with powdered sugar, vanilla & water.
Makes about 100 cookies.
