cup butter
⅓ cup sugar
1 egg yolk
tsp vanilla
1⅓ cups Flour
tsp. Salt

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together, butter, sugar, egg yolk; add vanilla and salt and beat well. Add sifted flour, mix well. Chill dough. Roll out and cut out with cookie cutter. A donut cutter works well for this cookie. You use a solid circle for the bottom and for the top you use the one with a hole in the middle.

Bake at 350 for 9 to 12 min.
Cool. Fill with apricot jam.
Frost the top with lemon glaze and put together.

GLAZE:
Confectioners sugar, water or lemon juice.
