1 large can crushed pineapple (do not drain)
1 can cherry pie filling
1 box yellow cake mix
2 sticks butter, cut into pats
1 c. nuts, chopped
1/2 box light brown sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325º F.

In 9”x13” pan, layer ingredients in the order listed.

Bake for one hour.
Serve warm with ice cream.

I butter the pan before I start layering ingredients. I use walnuts, and usually more than a cup. You can also add shredded coconut in the middle and put some on top if you like. This can be used with blueberry pie filling as well.
