Orange Pecan Cookies Recipe

3 cups sifted flour
½ tsp soda
¾ cup butter
½ cup sugar
1 TBS grated orange rind
1 cup chopped pecans
2 tsp baking powder
½ tsp salt
1 cup packed brown sugar
2 eggs
½ cup sour cream
Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar. Add unbeaten eggs and orange rind. Beat well.
Stir in sour cream.
Blend in sifted dry ingredients, gradually.
Add pecan.
Drop by teaspoon on greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 375º for 10 to15 minutes.
Frost while warm.

Icing
Combine 2 cups powdered sugar, 2 tsp grated orange rind, ⅛ tsp salt, 2 TBS softened butter. Add 2 to 3 TBS orange juice.
