6 slices of bacon cut into 1 inch pieces
1 chopped onion
1 chopped red pepper
1/2 lb. chopped mushrooms
2 oz. tin caper stuffed anchovies - drained & chopped
1 jar green olives
1/2 cup minced parsley
1 pound linguine or spaghetti


Directions:

In a skillet saute the bacon until crisp. Remove from pan and drain on a paper towel. To the pan, add chopped onion, and red pepper until softened. Add the mushrooms and anchovies. Cook on moderate heat for 10 minutes. Stir 1 cup chopped olives, 1/2 cup minced parsley and the bacon.

Cook 1 pound linguine for 12 minutes , drain and toss with 1 stick butter. Pour the sauce over the pasta and serve hot.
