1 ½ cups Brown Sugar
2 Tsp. Vanilla
1 cup hot water
2 cups flour
6 TBS. baking powder
1 cup white sugar
1½ cups whole milk
½ stick Butter

Directions:
Directions:
Pre heat oven to 375 degrees

Butter a 9x14 or larger pan.

In medium size bowl, mix together brown sugar, vanilla and hot water.

In a separate bowl, mix together flour, baking soda, sugar and milk. (Pay attention this rises quickly)

Pour batter into buttered pan then pour sugar mixture over batter.

Scatter small pieces of butter over the top.

Bake at 375 for 45 min. or until it pulls away from edges of pan.
