1 1/2 cups Brown Sugar
2 Tsp. Vanilla
1 cup hot water
2 cups flour
6 TBS. baking powder
1 cup sugar
1 1/2 cups milk

Directions:
Directions:
mix together brown sugar, vanilla and hot water.

mix together flour, baking soda, sugar and milk. ( pay attention this rises quickly)

Pre heat oven to 375 degrees

butter a 9x14 or larger pan

Pour batter into pan than pour sugar mixture over batter.

Scatter small pieces of butter over the top.

bake at 375 for 45 min. or until it pull from edges
