Minute Rice (prepared), amount to taste
1/2 pound bacon
1 small sweet onion (chopped fine)
1 tablespoon flour
1 can dark red kidney beans with juice
chili powder (to taste, the more the spicier!)
salt (to taste)

Directions:
Directions:
While rice is cooking, fry bacon slow; to crispy. Remove bacon and drain. Allow oil to cool slightly and then add onion and saute until tender. Remove onions and drain.Leave enough drippings in pan to mix with flour creating a thin consistency. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly until lightly browned. Add juice from beans and enough water to make 1 cup of liquid. Cook until slightly thickened; add beans, bacon, onion, and other seasonings. Add rice until dish is the consistency you like (we use 3-4 cups cooked rice). Mix ingredients well and taste. Add additional chili powder or salt to your taste. (We like ours spicy!)
