3 cups peeled and sliced carrots
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons brown sugar (or use 2 tablespoons maple syrup)
1 and 1/2 tablespoons chopped fresh dill
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
cornstarch to thicken if needed

Directions:
Directions:
Cook carrots in enough water to cover until tender, then drain.
Stir in sugar, dill, butter, salt and pepper.
Thicken with a teaspoon of cornstarch mixed with a bit of water over medium heat if needed.
