Sheila Seats


2 cup flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup sugar
1 egg, beaten
2 Tbs shortening, melted
2 Tbs hot water
1/2 cup orange juice
1/2 cup pecans
1 cup whole cranberries, cut in half
butter for topping

Sift together flour, baking powder, salt and sugar.
Add egg and mix well.
Add shortening and hot water, then OJ.
Fold in nuts and cranberries.
Bake 325 for 1 hour.
Butter top and wrap. Store in refrigerator.
