1 ½ cup Molasses
1 cup Shortening
1 teaspoon Salt
1 teaspoon Cinnamon
1 teaspoon Baking Soda – Add to ½ cup Boiling Water
3 ¼ cups Flour
Directions:
Directions:
1. Cream shortening.
2. Add molasses.
3. Sift salt, cinnamon, and flour together and add gradually.
4. Pour water/soda over mixture and blend.
5. Bake in 9x13 pan.
