1 lb ground beef or Italian sausage
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 Tbsp. chopped parsley
1 Tbsp. basil
1 tsp. salt
1 medium onion, chopped
1 (16 oz) can tomatoes
1 (8 oz) can tomato sauce
1 (6 oz) can tomato paste
10 oz package lasagna noodles
1 (16 oz) carton cottage cheese
1 (12 oz) carton ricotta cheese
2 eggs, beaten
1 tsp salt
tsp pepper
2 Tbsp chopped parsley
cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 - 1 lbs mozzarella cheese

Brown meat and onions. Add next 7 ingredients. Simmer uncovered for 30-45 minutes, stirring occasionally. Cook noodles in boiling salted water (add 1 Tbsp oil) until tender. Combine cottage cheese and ricotta cheese with next 5 ingredients.

Place the noodles in a 13x9x2 baking dish. Spread the cheese mixture over the noodles and add the mozzarella cheese and the meat mixture. Repeat layers. Bake @ 375 for 30-40 minutes. Let stand for 10 minutes before cutting and serving.
