2 cups mixed nuts
1¾ cup flour
⅔ cup powdered sugar
1 cup butter
Caramel:
½ cup firmly packed brown sugar
½ cup honey
⅔ cup butter
3 Tablespoons heavy whipping cream

Directions:

If using all pecans arrange single layer on cookie sheet and bake at 350º for 5-7 minutes. Cool. Mix flour, powdered sugar, and 3/4 cup butter. Pat into greased tart pan. Bake at 350º for 20 minutes or until edges brown. Cool until completely cool. Bring to boil brown sugar, honey, 2/3 cup butter and whipping cream over medium heat. Stir in toasted pecans or mixed nuts. Spoon caramel nut mixture over tart crust. Bake at 350º for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on rack. Serve in slices. In St. Louis Desiree and I would go to this little German Bakery and buy this tart. It is very good.
