Italian "S" Cookies Recipe

3 c. flour
3 heaping tsp. baking power
3 heaping tbps. Crisco
1 tsp. vanilla
3 eggs
1 tbps. milk
⅔ c. sugar

Powdered sugar

For Dough: In medium bowl, mix flour and baking powder, then add Crisco. In a separate bowl, mix eggs, milk, vanilla and sugar. Combine wet and dry ingredients until dough comes together. Roll dough into desired "S" size.

Bake at 375 for 9-11 mins

For Glaze: Mix powdered sugar, vanilla and milk to make a smooth, pourable glaze

Once cooled, dip "S" cookies into glaze, and place on wire rack placed over cookie sheet to set.
