12 organic big lemons
16 oz water
16 oz grain alcohol
16 oz sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Wash and dry the lemons and remove the peel with a potato peeler only the yellow part. Place the peels in a glass jar big enough to accommodate all the ingredients in the recipe. Cover with the alcohol seal and keep in a dark and dry place for about 1 month.

After a month dissolve the sugar in the water. Filter the sugar syrup. When the filtered syrup is nice and cold mix it in with the alcohol and lemon peels. Let it rest for 1 week.

After a week filter the the lemoncello into glass bottles and store in the freezer. The lemocello is ready to be tasted ice cold.
