4 heaping cups (1 pound) Pecan halves
½ cup margarine
½ cup Karo syrup

Directions:
Important to use good Pecans. Place Pecans on cookie sheet and scatter pats of margarine on pecans. Drizzle Karo syrup over nuts. Bake nuts at 250º to 300º until lightly browned or about 1 hour. Spread out on heavy grocery bags to cool and salt generously. Recipe given by GI Doctor at VA.
