1 1/3 cups Flour
½ cup Cocoa
¾ teaspoon Baking Soda
½ teaspoon Salt
½ cup Shortening
1 7/8 cup Brown Sugar
2 Eggs
½ cup Milk
½ cup Boiling Water
½ teaspoon Vanilla
Directions:
Directions:
1. Cream shortening and brown sugar. Add eggs and mix well.
2. Sift dry ingredients together and add gradually with milk while beating. Add vanilla and mix.
3. Add boiling water and mix.
4. Pour into 8x8 pan and bake at 350 deg.
