1/2 cup beer
1-3/4 cups chicken broth
1/4 cup heavy cream
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt

Directions:
Bring beer, chicken broth, butter, cream and salts to boil on medium high heat. Stir in grits, making sure there are no lumps. With a hand or stand up mixer, beat grits and cream cheese; this makes them fluffy. Coat a glass baking dish with butter spray and pour in the grits. Bake in a 350º oven for 20 minutes. Remove the dish and add the cheese, stirring well. Sprinkle the top of the dish with cayenne pepper and return to the oven for 10 minutes.
