8-oz pkg cream cheese, room temperature
3 sticks (1-1/2 c) salted butter, room temperature
3 c all-purpose flour
3 c sugar
6 large eggs
2 tsp vanilla extract
Pinch of salt

Directions:
Directions:
Grease and flour tube pan. Set aside. Cream margarine and cream cheese until mixed well. Add sugar slowly and beat until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time beating well after each addition. Add flour and salt slowly, beating after each addition. Beat mixture for 2 more minutes. Pour into greased and floured tube pan and put in COLD oven on middle rack. Turn on oven to 300 or 325°F and bake for 1-1/2 hours (90 minutes). Remove from oven to cooling rack for 5-10 minutes and invert. Cool thoroughly.
