2 cups milk
1 cup water
1/2 cup butter
1 1/2 cups self-rising white corn meal
3/4 cup sugar
2 beaten eggs

Directions:
Directions:
1. Scald milk, water, and butter.
2. Stir meal into the milk mixture.
3. Stir in sugar.
4. Add eggs and stir well.
5. Pour into a greased 8x8 pan and bake 375ºF till golden brown and knife comes out clean.
