1 tbsp salt
4 cups finely shredded cabbage
1 cup finely sliced onion
4 tbsp butter or veg oil
2 tsp sugar
1/4 tsp pepper
3 cups cooked broad egg noodles drained
Sour cream to serve

Directions:
Directions:
Mix salt and cabbage together and let stand 30 minutes. Squeeze out liquid. Heat butter in deep skillet and add onions, cabbage, sugar and pepper. Cook over low heat stirring frequently until cabbage is browned about 25 - 30 minutes then finish with a little chicken stock stirring frequently. Serve with sour cream.
