1 GALLON GREEN TOMATOES
1 1/2 CUPS PICKLING LIME
1 GALLON WATER
SLICE TOMATOES ABOUT 1/4" THICK. ADD TO LIME AND WATER AND SOAK FOR 24 HOURS. DRAIN AND RINSE.


8 CUPS SUGAR
5 1/2 CUPS VINAGAR
1 TABLESPOON SALT
1 TABLESPOON WHOLE CLOVES
4 CINNAMON STICKS BROKE INTO PIECES

ADD ALL INGREDIENTS TOGETHER AND PUT OVER HEAT AND HEAT JUST UNTIL SUGAR IS MELTED.
LET SET 24 HOURS.
HEAT MIXTURE TILL BOILING AND TURN HEAT DOWN AND SIMMER ABOUT 20 MINUTES.
CAN IN JARS AND FILL WITH LIQUID TO TOP OF RIM AND SEAL.
