8 ounces pork sausage
¼ cup butter
⅓ cup all purpose flour
3½ cup half water half evaporated milk
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Cook sausage in large skillet over medium heat, stirring until crumbled and done. Remove sausage to paper towel. Leave one tablespoon of grease in pan plus the butter. Stir flour into hot dripping plus butter mixture until smooth. Cook for one minute or until brown as desired. Pour the evaporated milk and water mixture all in at once into the skillet. Stir continuously, until gravy thickens 5-7 minutes. Stir in sausage and seasonings.
