4 lb chuck roast
salt and pepper
2 onions sliced
1 10 oz can of condensed beef broth
⅓ brown sugar
⅓ cider vinegar
8 small gingersnaps

Egg noodles

Directions:
Directions:
Sprinkle roast on all sides with salt and pepper. Place roast in crock pot and add rest of ingredients (not egg noodles).

Cover tightly and cook for 6 hours on high turning occasionally. Remove roast and set aside.
Add crumbled ginger snaps to the sauce in the crockpot. Stir until sauce thickens. Slice meat and spoon sauce over the sliced meat. Serve with cooked egg noodles.
