2 cups flour
1 cup margarine
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup white sugar
2 cups oatmeal
1 cup chocolate chips
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking powder

Directions:

1. Cream margarine and sugars.
2. Add eggs and vanilla then mix well.
3. Add sifted dry ingredients then oatmeal and chocolate chips. Mix.
4. Bake at 325 for 8-10 minutes.

Every summer our family went to Pilgrim Park to enjoy a week of summer camp. Staff and campers alike always want to go back for more cowboy cookies. I managed to procure this recipe secretly from the cook so keep it secret!
