1 large can sweet potatoes drained.
6 Tablespoons butter softened
2 eggs
1½ cups sugar
1 cup evaporated milk
dash of cinnamon

Topping:
1 cup crushed cornflakes
½ cup chopped nuts
½ cup packed brown sugar
6 Tablespoons butter melted

Directions:
Directions:
Warm potatoes then drain juice. Cream together butter, eggs and sugar. Add milk and cinnamon. Mash potatoes and add to butter mixture. Spoon into buttered casserole dish and bake at 400º for 15-20 minutes. Combine all topping ingredients and spread over casserole. Bake another 15 minutes. Serve.

Waynell made this for Thanksgiving in 2000. It was very good, but she stated she had to bake an hour to hour and a half.
