12 large pears, cubed
1 (no. 2) can crushed, pineapple
2 oranges, ground, rind and all
1 (10 oz.) bottle maraschino cherries, chopped
sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Measure cubed pears, and add equal amount of sugar; add pineapple and oranges. Mix and let stand overnight; stir well. Cook over low heat, stirring often, (as it burns easily). Cook until thickens. Add cherries, finely chopped, just before removing from heat. Takes about 1½ hrs. to cook down. Put in jars and seal. Makes about 6 pints.
