German Oatmeal Cookies Recipe

1 C brown sugar
1 C white sugar
1 C Crisco
1 egg
2 C flour
tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
1 C oatmeal
1 C pecans
1 C coconut
C milk chocolate chips optional
1 tsp. water, plus 1 tsp. baking powder
C chocolate chips(optional)

Cream Crisco and sugars. Add egg. Add dry ingredients. Add water and baking powder, mix with hands.
Roll in small balls, press down with fork. Bake at 325 for 10-15 minutes.
