Ingredients:
Ingredients:
½ C butter
3 C sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
3 eggs
½ C milk
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
5 C flour

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º.
Cream together, butter and sugar. Add vanilla and eggs. Blend well. Add milk, salt, baking powder and blend well.
Add flour, one cup at a time, until dough is desired consistency. Needs to be stiff, but not too much so. Drop by large rounded spoonfuls on lightly sprayed cookie sheet.

This dough also works well for cut out cookies. The dough will handle better if you have time to chill it. Use a floured tea towel for easier transfer to pan. Pat out dough to a little thicker than ½ inch and cut into desired shapes.

Bake 15 minutes or until light brown around the edges.

Love one another deeply from the heart.
