8 oz (250g) chocolate cake or pound cake
1/4 cup rum
1/4 cup fresh hot coffee
1 cup whipping cream
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 tub (500g) mascarpone cheese
3/4 cup coarsely grated chocolate

Directions:
Directions:
Cut chocolate cake into slices. Mix together rum and coffee; sprinkle evenly over cake slices and set aside.
In a bowl, beat cream and sugar until stiff. In a 2nd bowl beat mascarpone until softened. Fold whipped cream mixture into mascarpone. Arrange a third of the cake slices in a shallow serving bowl. Spoon over a 3rd of the mascarpone mixture. Sprinkle a 3rd of the grated chocolate over the mascarpone layer. Repeat layers, ending with grated chocolate.
Cover carefully with plastic wrap and chill for at least 4 hours or overnight before serving.
Serves 6 - 8.
