3/4 cup butter
1-3/4 cup sugar
2 eggs, separated (Beat egg white)
1 cup mashed potatoes
3 tbsp. cocoa
1 cup nuts, chopped
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
2 tsp. cinnamon
2 tsp. baking powder
2 cups flour
1/2 cup milk

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar: add well beaten egg yolks. Add potatoes, cocoa and nuts; stir well. Add dry sifted ingredients alternating with milk. Fold in beaten egg whiles. Bake at 350 degrees until cake tests done.

ICING:

1 stick butter
1/2 cup milk
3 1/2 tbsp. cocoa

Bring to a boil and add to box powdered sugar. Pour over cake cake after cake rests approximately 10 minutes.
