1 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup quick cooking oats
1 stick butter
1 cup boiling water
2 eggs
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. soda
1 cup flour
4 Tbsp. butter
4 Tbsp. canned milk
1 can coconut
2 Egg yolks
1 cup nuts
1 cup brown sugar

Batter: Mix boiling water, pour over oats. Let stand 20 minutes.
Cream sugars & butter, add eggs,add flavorings. Add soda & flour and beat; mix in oatmeal mixture & beat.
Bake in loaf pan until it springs back when touched.

Icing: Mix all ingredients, boil gently until slightly brown.
Spread on hot cake.
