1 cup Crisco
2 cup sugar
4 eggs
1 cup buttermilk
¼ tsp, salt
1 tsp. baking powder
¼ tsp. soda
2 cups flour
2 tsp. vanilla
Directions:
Directions:
Cream Crisco with sugar. Add eggs one at a time, mix soda & vanilla in buttermilk & add alternately with dry ingredients. Beat 2 minutes. Cook in greased & floured pan for 1 hour at 325º.
Don't ice.
