1 lb. box powdered sugar
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
¾ cup Crisco
3½ Tbsp. cold water

Directions:
Directions:
Sift powdered sugar and cornstarch (optional in dry weather). Add Crisco and blend until like meal. Add cold water, blend thoroughly. Use thick icing for flowers Add more water for leaves and borders. Liquid coloring thins same as water, so use less proportionately, according to amount of coloring used. (mix by hand, store in covered container.)
Powdered sugar in plastic bags doesn't have to be sifted. Keep closed after opened.
