1 and 1/2 tablespoons butter
1 onion, sliced
2 gloves garlic
2 sprigs fresh thyme
1 butternut squash, cut into cubes
4 cups chicken stock
1 pinch cumin
1 pinch allspice
salt and black pepper to taste


Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter and cook onion, garlic and thyme.
Add squash and chicken stock and cook until squash is tender.
Season with allspice, cumin, salt and pepper.
Cool, then puree in blender.
