cup sugar
1tablespoon and teaspoon corn starch
cup water
cup vinegar
2 tablespoons butter

Directions:
Directions:
Mix sugar, corn starch, water and vinegar in sauce pan and cook till clear.

Add the butter.

Drain the beets and slice, then stir in cooked mixture.
