Devil's Food cake mix

Bake Devil's Food cake in oblong cake pan and cool thoroughly.

Place onto a cookie sheet. Take a thread and pull through the middle of the cake lengthwise. Next take the thread down through the center of the top layer you've created. Place the two top layers onto wax paper.

Prepare chocolate pudding (large box that calls for 3 cups milk). Spread half of pudding onto bottom layer of cake. Spread one can of cherry pie filling and replace the two top pieces of cake.

Spread the rest of the chocolate pudding onto the top of the cake and cover with Cool Whip. Keep refrigerated!!!
