Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 Tbsp vegetable oil
1 lb country sausage
¼ c all-purpose flour
3 c heavy cream
4 dashes Tabasco sauce
1 Tbsp. fresh garlic
1 Tbsp. onion, finely minced
1 tsp ground black pepper
½ tsp dry mustard
salt

Directions:
Directions:
In a large skillet set over medium heat, heat oil. Add the sausage and cook, breaking up any lumps with the back of a spoon, until cooked through, about 15 minutes. Stir in the flour and cook, stirring for 7 more minutes. Using a whisk, add the cream, whisking until there are no longer lumps. Add the Tabasco, garlic, onion, pepper, and mustard. Season with salt to taste. Reduce the heat to low and simmer, stirring occasionally to keep gravy from burning. When gravy starts to thicken, about 15-20 minutes, it is ready. Serve immediately with baked biscuits.

Personal Notes:
I make this with whole milk, not cream and it works just fine.
