Fresh corn on the cob
half and half
butter (not oleo)
salt and pepper
Lowrey's or All-Seasoon salt

Directions:
Remove corn husks and silk threads form corn. Cut off both ends of cob. Wash corn. Blanch corn in hot boiling water. Remove from hot water and put in an ice bath. Once cool enough to handle cut the corn kernels off of the cob. In a large bowl mix the corn, half and half, butter, salt and pepper and seasoning salt. Put mixture into a greased casserole dish. Bake at 300º for 1 to 1½ hours.
Freezes well.
