½ cup course sugar
4 tsp kosher salt
1 tsp finely chopped habanero or jalapeño pepper
1 large pineapple

Tapered candle

Directions:
Directions:
Combine sugar, salt and chopped chili pepper and place in decorate bowl.

Cut top off the pineapple and place on platter. Remove inner fronds and place a tapered candle in the center of the pineapple top. Cut the pineapple base into 1 inch pieces and scatter around the platter.

Set out tooth picks and empty bowl to discard them.
