1 C oleo
1 C powered sugar
1 tsp soda
1 tsp cream of tarter
1 C oil
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp salt
1 C white sugar
2 eggs (beaten)
4 C flour
½ tsp butter flavoring

1. Cream oleo, oil, and white sugar together.
2. Add powered sugar, vanilla, butter flavoring & beaten eggs.
3. Sift dry ingredients together and add to sugar mixture.
4. Chill dough
5. Roll into small balls and roll in sugar and press down on cookie sheet with sugar covered glass to flatten.
6. Bake 350º for about 10-13 minutes or until light brown around the edges.

*Penny uses a parchment covered cookie sheet, does not chill dough. Drops spoonfuls of dough in a dish of sugar. Then flattens with a glass.
