2 cups. besan or gram flour
1 tsp. ajwain
1 tsp. ground black pepper / chilli pepper
1 tsp. salt
½ tsp. turmeric
2 tbsp. hot oil

Directions:
Directions:
1. Mix all the dry ingredients
2. Add water slowly to make between a soft and stiff dough
3. Divide the dough into 3 equal portions.
4. If the dough is sticky oil your hands to make the dough smooth
5.. Fit the disc of your choice of the size of ganthia in the machine
6.. Place one portion of the dough in the ganthia machine.
7. Heat the oil in the wok.
8. When the oil is hot, test a little of the mixture to see if rises to the top.
9. Using a ganthia maker turn the handle around in a circular motion.
10. When it is golden brown, turn it on the other side.
11. Remove it from the oil and let it cool on an absorbent paper to remove excess oil.
12 Enjoy the ganthia with a cup of chai
