2 cups sifted all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons sugar
3 teaspoons baking powder
½ teaspoon salt
½ cup butter
1 beaten egg
⅔ cup light cream
3 to 4 cups sugared sliced strawberries
1 cup whipped cream or use Cool Whip

Directions:
Directions:
Sift together dry ingredients. Cut in butter till mixture is like coarse crumbs. Combine eggs and cream and add to dry ingredients, stirring only to moisten.

Spread dough in greased pan and bake at 450º for 15 to 18 minutes till golden.

Serve warm with strawberries and Cool Whip.
