Directions:
Directions:
Be prepared for some Christmas giggles...
Slipped deep into a Christmas stocking....
these will bring extra Christmas Cheer and surprise...

***********************************
Down in the toe...
in its Christmasy-depths...
there's a stocking-surprise...
that you haven't found yet...

****************************
Homemade candies in a tin
that Mrs. Claus has packed down in...
Straight from the North Pole kitchen
tucked snug in Santa's sack...

********************************
The Orange in the Toe
Hanging high up on the mantle
are the stockings, in a row
from large to teeney weeney
in the tree light's twinkle-glow...
Filled with lots of sweet surprises
like Lifesavers and some gum
maybe nuts or homemade candy
little toys and games for fun
Maybe there's a shiny toothbrush
with its toothpaste, fresh and new
or a pretty little hairbrush
and a shining mirror, too...
Oh ...most anything that fits, now
could be hid so none could see
...little trinkets, little treasures
just not meant for 'neath the tree...
Maybe gift cards, maybe money
special coupons, in disguise
to be spilled out and looked over
by those tree-lit, sparkling eyes...
No, you never know what lingers
in its bulging depths below
cuz' it's a long way from the candy cane
to the orange in the toe...
